Members of the immensely popular “Game of Thrones” TV show and series creator George R.R. Martin made a big appearance at the San Diego Comic Con. Warning: if you’ve never watched “Thrones,” there are several spoilers in this posting, so be mindful.
The panel kicked off with an amusingly crafted “In Memoriam” [sic] video — complete with the song “It’s So Hard To Say Goodbye To Yesterday” by Boyz II Men — that paid tribute to all of the characters, big and small, that have died during the show’s three-season run. During the panel, the audience shot off a variety of questions at the various “Thrones” actors, which included Emilia Clarke, Kit Harrington, Michelle Fairley, Peter Dinklage, Rose Leslie, Richard Madden, and John Bradley. Thankfully, the geek blog ThinkHero recorded the entire panel for your viewing pleasure, which you can watch below. You’ll learn about how the popular show almost had a different theme song, shoulder rubs between Tywin and Tyrion, lots of Red Wedding talk, and other funny musings.
